Leadership
Our leadership team combines deep industry experience with a practical understanding of how HR technology supports organisations. From product direction and software development to implementation and ongoing client support, each member plays an important role in delivering the ActionHRM experience.
As co-founder of ActionHRM, Adam brings extensive experience in human resource management technology and a strong understanding of the needs of mid-market organisations.
Since joining ActionHRM in 2003, Adam has developed a broad perspective on how technology can improve HR efficiency across different industries. He leads the strategic direction of the business, with responsibility for solutions design, implementation and support.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Technology Sydney. Before joining ActionHRM, he worked in a chartered accounting firm and at JP Morgan.
John brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources services, business strategy and human capital management, with experience across Asian, European and American markets.
He is the former Deputy Chairman of Chandler Macleod Group, where he spent 21 years before its acquisition by Recruit in 2015. He has also held director and deputy chair positions with publicly listed companies, including Mainstream Group.
John is a former National President of the Recruitment & Consulting Services Association and was inducted into the Recruitment International Hall of Fame in the UK in 2016. His experience provides valuable strategic insight as ActionHRM continues to develop its solutions and client relationships.
Chris brings more than 20 years of experience across technology and business. Working alongside the CEO, he helps shape ActionHRM's strategy and service delivery, with a focus on building strong commercial relationships and long-term client partnerships.
Chris leads the company's commercial and sales activities, develops partner channels and oversees key client engagements. He also provides project direction and oversight for significant client delivery projects, helping ensure solutions remain aligned with client requirements.
Tamara has worked with the ActionHRM solution since 2011, bringing valuable experience from within a client organisation that grew from approximately 300 to more than 4,000 employees.
Having experienced the practical impact of HR administration and systems decisions first-hand, Tamara combines strong solution knowledge with a clear understanding of HR best practice.
As Head of Consulting, she leads the consulting team and supports the delivery of client projects, including system configuration, implementation and training. Her focus is on helping clients get meaningful value from their ActionHRM solution.
The wider team
Working with ActionHRM since 2015, Steven has continued to build on twenty (20) years of professional experience working as a software engineer, solutions architect and database developer. Now leading the team of developers at ActionHRM, Steven primarily architects enhancements and manages the software development cycle, involving technical leads, senior management and development group who materialise the scope of works.
As a senior software engineer at ActionHRM, and with over 12 years commercial experience, Haryanto is primarily responsible for requirements analysis and solutions design. General application maintenance, support & testing are also provisioned with input from Haryanto, including technical implementation support for the ActionHRM client success team.
With a solid innings over forty (40) years, Charles has worked with small, mid-tier, and large organisations providing professional accounts services. Charles has been leading the accounts effort at ActionHRM since 2011, and is proud of being part of the successful formula, which has recently recorded an increase in annual turnover of over 120%. Also setting operational budget guidelines, Charles enables ActionHRM to appropriately invest in product enhancements and new talent as milestones are reached.

Graham has over 30 years experience as a Senior Technical Officer solving industry problems in BHP Billiton, Esso Australia and Exxon Coal & Minerals using information technology. For 15 years, he worked as a successful entrepreneur in his own company which provided consulting and application development to industry. In 2001 he founded ActionHRM and has been an active member of the management team ever since.
